ABOUT SINGAPORE MICE FORUM
Established in 2011 by SACEOS, the Singapore MICE Forum (SMF) is a premier annual business platform for the MICE community, bringing together over 400 representatives from government agencies, industry associations, MICE companies, and IHLs across Singapore and the region.
SMF returns on 24 July 2025 with an exciting programme featuring fireside chats with prominent business leaders, plenary discussions, curated networking sessions, business matching opportunities, and a vibrant business marketplace. In addition to the signature business forum, SMF 2025 will also include a dynamic lineup of events taking place from 23 to 25 July 2025:
Themed “What’s Next?”, SMF 2025 looks beyond the horizon to redefine the future of this dynamic and ever changing industry. Building on past conversations around talent, sustainability, and AI, this year’s forum is about bold strategies, agile leadership, and transformative innovation in an era of change and uncertainty.
In challenges lie opportunity; in disruption lies dreams. What’s Next? is about embracing change, staying ahead, and riding the tides to shape a competitive advantage. The future of MICE is not something to predict—it’s something to create together.
Are you ready to shape it?

Panel Discussion – Master or Slave, Manager or Staff?
As artificial intelligence becomes deeply embedded in our daily lives, a critical question emerges: are we the masters of AI, or are we gradually becoming its slaves?
This discussion explores the dynamic tension between control and dependence in the AI era, focusing on the roles of three influential players. Together, these companies illustrate the spectrum of control and dependence in the AI revolution. The debate is not simply technological – it is philosophical. Are we creating tools that serve us, or systems that subtly reshape and dominate our choices?
“Tech and AI – Master or Slave?” invites audiences to examine the implications of increasingly intelligent systems and urges policymakers, developers, and users alike to ask: Who commands the future—us, or the code we’ve unleashed?
