In this week’s SG SafeEvent Certification Spotlight, we speak to Aw Luo Cheng, Assistant Manager of Kin Productions Pte Ltd as she shares her organisation’s journey in becoming SG SafeEvent Certified and how the programme will help the MICE & Events industry provide a sense of assurance to all attendees.

1. What inspired you to be SG SafeEvent certified? 

Kin Productions decided to be SG SafeEvent Organiser & Supplier certified as we recognize the need to be well-prepared once international events start to return to Singapore. Being certified allows our clients to have peace of mind and the confidence in us to organise and manage their events in a safe manner.  

2. How was the journey in the programme?

The TR84 is a comprehensive guide that covers all aspects and best practices for a safe event, going beyond the suggested safe management measures. The audit process was simple and efficient and the feedback provided allowed us to gain deeper insights on how we can do better.

3. Why would you recommend other companies to come onboard? 

Yes, definitely. We believe that event organisers and suppliers should come onboard to be certified as we all chip in to strengthen Singapore’s position as a Safe Events Hub.
