SG SafeEvent Ambassador Spotlight:
Event Management Services Team, Constellar Holdings Pte Ltd

In this week’s #SGSafeEventAmbassador spotlight, we speak to the Event Management Services Team, Constellar Holdings Pte Ltd, as they share their journey in becoming a certified SGSafeEventAmbassador and how it will help the event industry provide a sense of assurance.

1. Tell us a little bit about what you do 

At Constellar, we welcome event organisers and visitors to Singapore’s largest, purpose-built MICE facility, Singapore EXPO and MAX Atria. With our full suite of hybrid services like Digital Platforms, Studio with Broadcasting facilities, versatile event spaces with customised dining experiences and integrated marketing services, we stand ready to be your partner for growth within the new normal in Asia.

As the Event Management Services Team, we handle all Studio and Broadcasting productions and offer services from project management, speaker, and conference operations to registration, for bridging the gap between your physical, virtual and hybrid event needs. At Constellar, your experience is at the heart of what we do. We strive to co-create engaging events for your customers in today’s new normal. 

2. What inspired you to become a SG SafeEvent Ambassador 

We strongly believe that certifications like SGSafeEventAmbassador pave the future for our resilient MICE industry and help in the re-opening of events. At Constellar, we are committed to delivering safe and successful events. Ensuring a safe environment for all our organisers, attendees and clients is our utmost priority. This inspired us to address event related safety concerns, upskill and empower the Event Management Services Team to provide a safe environment for all our visitors and assure them that they are in good hands.

3. What are the key learnings and skills you picked up from the course and how will it benefit you in your work? 

Through the SG SafeEvents Ambassador (SEA) course, we have deeper understanding of the SG SafeEvents Standards and Safe Management Measures (SMM) required for the Events industry. With enhanced information on the roles and responsibilities needed to be an SEA, we are trained and well equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to help our clients plan and execute best-in-class safe events. We apply the best practices and safety management measures at various stages of an event to deliver service excellence and provide reassurance to our clients and their attendees.

4. Why would you encourage others to be a SG SafeEvent Ambassador? 

When more companies in the industry are certified as SGSafeEventAmbassador, together we can strengthen Singapore’s standing in the global economy as a prominent business event hub. Through upskilling, we can plan and execute events more efficiently in a comfortable and secure setting to achieve higher attendee satisfaction and return on investment for the organisers. Together, we must inspire one another to work towards the brighter future of the MICE industry by doing our part to safeguard ourselves.
