The SG SafeEvent Standard is a mark of assurance that your event meets the necessary requirements for safety, compliance and wellbeing in a post-Covid world.
These standards will help event organisers, venues and suppliers to ‘operationalise’ and implement STB’s Safe Business Event Risk Management Framework. The national directives and best practice recommendations outlined here are based on government advisories on Safe Management Measures (SMMs) for MICE events.
These checklists will help guide operations for different MICE and Event businesses in the three phases of event management –pre-event, during, and post-event.
To guide the industry in implementing safebusiness events, SACEOS, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) have come together to formulate the Event Industry Resilience Roadmap (IRR). IRR sets out the SG SafeEvent Standards that is to be applied to the events organised in Singapore.
Collaborating with NTUC LearningHub, the SG SafeEvents Training Programme is designed to equip MICE and Events ambassadors with the necessary knowledge and application of the SG SafeEvent Standard to ensure guests’ safety, compliance and wellbeing.
