Professional Conference Management (PCM) Course


About the PCM Course

In our ever-changing market, businesses need to be constantly aware of the current issues and respond to the changes in the market. Thus, conferences are often organised to gather the individuals in the industry and address trending issues. A well run conference serves to facilitate knowledge exchange and encourage activism in an attempt to propel the industry forward. Through a series of lectures and case studies, participants will be equipped with the essential skills to execute a seamless conference.

Upon completion of the PCM course, participants will be awarded 23.50 Continuing Education (CE) clock hours1. These hours can be used in either the Application or Recertification processs of the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) programme.

 

Learning Objectives

The purpose of the course is to:

  • Introduce participants to the basic concepts and elements in organising conferences;
  • Raise the standards of professionalism and service quality through additional knowledge and experience gained about the conference management industry in Singapore;
  • Understand the practical applications of concepts i.e. marketing, budgeting, programming.

SACEOS Members: (SGD 950.00 after 7% GST) SGD 1016.50 nett 

Non-Members: (SGD 1,200.00 after 7% GST) SGD 1,284.00 nett
